Today I thought it would be nice to introduce you to a cool new web toy. One of the many great things about living in Arlington is that so much is walkable – great shopping, restaurants, parks, community centers, and the metro to take you places outside of our immediate area.
But even in Arlington you can choose to live in neighborhoods that are more or less walkable to things. These decisions are often based on school districts and preference for urban versus suburban. Whether or not you have kids plays a major role. So there are differences in how close you are to the hip, urban vibe of Arlington’s villages like Clarendon, Ballston, or Shirlington. But even if you don’t live close to those popular areas, there is a lot going on in different parts of the county. Don’t discount how nice it can be if you simply live close to a sweet little spot like Westover Village, where all you need is covered in one small block: grocery store, restaurants, ice cream shop, barber, drug store, and post office. Very condense and very nice.
Now you can test out just how “walkable” an address is. That’s important to a lot of people, and probably important to you.
Have a great day!
Chris
