How would you describe the current real estate market? I recently attended a presentation and want to share some of it with you.
Roger Arnold says it’s like an “Easter egg hunt during a rattlesnake round-up.” Or, in other of his words “the ones who will capitalize on the current situation are the ones who see the opportunities.”
And the good news for us here in Arlington Virginia? According to him, “we’re closer to the bottom here than anywhere else,” adding that “the worse things get in Californa, the better they get for the Washington DC metro area.”
I heard him say it in person, and he’s not even a real estate agent!
He also suggests that we need to hit the “re-set” button on the economy, as the past is now irrelevant. He IS an economist, seemingly without an agenda or political viewpoint. I’m going to use the re-set button analogy with all of my listing clients!
